Facilities available in College
1.Laboratories :-
As per the norms of MCAER, Pune and requirement of VNMAU, Parbhani the B Tech. (Food tech.) course comprises the theoretical as well as practical knowledge. Therefore, our college had the five different laboratories monitor by well experienced staff.
All the necessary charts, instruments, equipment’s and chemicals and glass wares are available in different laboratories for effective teaching and conducting practical smoothly.
2.Classroom :-
Class rooms are spacious, well- ventilated with natural light and adequate electrical facilities. Ergonomically designed furniture, teaching aids like LCD, OHP etc. are used in teaching – learning process. The spirit of classroom training encompasses the fundamentals of theoretical and conceptual learning through interactive sessions of case studies, assignments, quizzes and presentation by students.
3.Hostel :-
Separate hostel facilities are available for both Boys and Girls. Newly built hostels are having great attraction to boys and girls for its high class comfort and most suited and required healthy atmosphere. The hostels are provided with all necessary amenities and facilities including:
newspapers and television are available for current information and entertainment, medical services on call including hospitalization. Purified drinking water and hygienic and sanitary facilities are made available for students. At present total 112 boys are staying in boys hostel and there are 12 girls are in Girls hostel.
4.Study Tour :-
The college has arranged various educational tours to food industries in different regions of country. Study tours for Undergraduate Courses of all the Colleges are as under, subject to availability of funds.
(1) Second year – Maharashtra State
(2) Third year – South India
(3) Fourth year- North India
5.Library and Reading Room :-
The college has well established library. More than 1227 books and periodicals are available for staff and students. Students are using the library facility from 8.00 am to 22.00 hrs. Internet facility is also available for students. CD’s and cassettes of latest audio-visual aids are star attraction of students. The students are being shown the various CD’s and cassettes on practical and theory lectures.

6.Internet and computer facilities :-
To keep our students and faculty abreast of the latest developments in their respective field of study, the institute has state-of-the-art campus network with 100 Mbps Leased line Internet connection that offers round the clock unlimited access of Internet. Internet facility is available for all systems in the whole campus. The entire campus is optically networked between buildings and cable within the buildings for connectivity. In addition, Wi-Fi facility is provided in all the buildings. Canteen, hostels and quarters are also provided with internet facility through Wi-Fi.
Internet access in the campus is secured and controlled through a dedicated server with open source software as gateway and firewall. This helps students and faculty to enrich their world-wide knowledge for their educational and research need.
7.Seminar Hall and Auditorium :-
Separate Seminar hall in college 100 capacities & one auditorium of 300 seats are also available.
8.Transport Facilities :-
Transport for daily commuting is generally one of the worries of parents. To enable students to free themselves from the worries of the transportation, we have made arrangements for College bus for students as well as staff. College is running bus services from MSRTC Bus stop to College Campus. This will make them free from the mental tension of driving or taking public transport system, to come to the college and go back, so that they fully concentrate on their studies. Parents also can have peace of mind while their wards are out in the college and need not worry about the traffic and driving problem. The transport facility is available to students staying outside the campus. The colleges have made Safe and secure bus facility for students and staffs.
9.Canteen :-
The campus has canteen facilities to cater for the taste buds of various regions beside regular mess facility. The objective of the Canteen and meal service is to protect by reducing the risk of foodborne illness, with proper sanitary conditions, and preventing adulterated food. From the very beginning of the College in 2015, the College Canteen has been functioning efficiently. The canteen is located inside the College. The hostellers and day scholars are provided meals by assuring food safety and quality.
10.Sports :-
Facilities for sports and allied activities are available at all the colleges. Playground is available for the college students and different sports kits like volleyball, kho-kho, badminton, chess, cricket etc are provided to the students. Students recently participated & got Gold Medal in Kho Kho in the inter-college competition held in vnmkv parbhani under different categories e.g. volleyball, Kabbaddi, Running, Chess.
11.Gymnasium :-
Well-equipped gymnasium is available within campus for students as well as faculty. Physical activity is good for your mental health. Experts believe that exercise releases chemicals in your brain that make you feel good. Regular exercise can also boost your self-esteem and help you concentrate, sleep, look and feel better.
12.NSS Actives :-
V.N.M.K.V. Parbhani sanctioned a N.S.S. unit of 25 students in the year 2018-19. The unit runs Various social and cultural activities throughout the year. College also organizes different activities to make students aware about their duty towards society and also to benefit society with the scientific knowledge in this field.
College organized training programs for women’s saving groups so that they can produce different food products like Aonla candy, potato chips, sauces, Bakery product, Beverages etc. During special camps of NSS lectures and demonstrations about food production, food safety, food spoilage and food safety were organized in different villages.
13.Pilot Plant :-
Establishment of pilot plant aims to provide students technical and personal experience which is acquired through participation in real life practices. So that students can gain experience of real world and learn how to be creative and develop ideas. Another aim behind establishing pilot plant is the acquisition of skills for creating launching and developing an enterprise, through activities that foster entrepreneurial spirit in students. Theoretical knowledge is incomplete without practical application. To give the practical knowledge to the students college has started a beverage and pulp unit as a pilot plant. Some more pilot plants including fruit and vegetable processing plant is set up.
